Make Life Extraordinary

For many years I sought what can only be described as a normal life. A suburban home, a fiancé, kids, a dog, a nice car, weekends in the pub with friends, anniversaries at posh restaurants, exotic holidays, ski trips and a successful business. Since 2006, I’ve had, and moved on from all of these, bar the kids, and I miss none of it. The story is ordinary and normal, it’s dull, it’s painful. I want a life that is utterly extraordinary and supranormal, I want to live with distinction.

The world needs exceptional people, those who decide that a normal life is not for them, that the rules of society and the storylines laid down no longer apply. Every convention in life must be questioned and rigorously interrogated, nothing can be taken for granted, no stone left unturned in the constant search for enlightenment. Extraordinary people are everywhere, they’re the ones who decide to wholeheartedly submerge themselves into a pursuit, to follow a path with pure dedication and enthusiasm.

It feels amazing and I want this to happen. I no longer want an ordinary life, I want to be extraordinary. We can all be extraordinary, if we break out of the story of our lives and move into a space of freedom from those confines. I’ve often settled for other people’s wishes in my life, I’ve made-do or accepted what’s put in…
