This is fantastic Malcolm, you’ve nailed why taking an simplistic exclusionary stance will never provide a complete solution to this complex problem. What happens to vegans when we finally discover that plants are conscious? Besides, veganism will bring a load of new issues with it, which will develop over the coming years and in the future people will wonder how we got into such a mess and why the hell did people stop eating animals anyway?
